The Health (Salud) Candle is a traditional spiritual tool in Hoodoo and folk practices, burned to call in healing, strength, and restoration. How to Dress It

• Anoint with Healing oil, Blessing oil, or Health oil

• Poke 3–7 small holes in the top of the wax with a nail or skewer, filling them with oils and herbs
  

• Add herbs such as, but not limited to:

  • Blessed Thistle → draws blessings and supports healing

  • Chickweed → eases conditions and promotes renewal

  • Eucalyptus Leaf → clears sickness and opens breath

  • Rosemary → strengthens spirit and protects health

  • Peppermint Leaf → refreshes energy and supports vitality

  • Calendula (Marigold) → solar healing and warmth for recovery

  • Hawthorn Leaf → heart healing and protection

• On Brown Parchment Paper, write your petition with a #2 Pencil. Quiet yourself, then let your higher source, inner voice, or guiding spirits shape the words. For example: “Health, strength, and healing flow into me. My body and spirit are restored.” Place the petition beneath the candle.
